Useful before you install.
Can I type a full message inside the home-screen widget?
No. iPhone widgets cannot host a full keyboard or scrolling chat. Tapping New Thread or a recent thread opens the exact screen inside Tapolia immediately. Android follows the same focused pattern.
Does $2.99 include ChatGPT or OpenAI usage?
No. Tapolia is a separate convenience app. You need your own eligible Codex access, and any OpenAI usage remains governed by your OpenAI account.
Does Tapolia upload my Codex login?
No. Your Codex login stays on your Mac. The mobile app uses a pairing token to reach the limited Tapolia companion interface.
Can I use it away from home?
The private beta is intended for a trusted local or private network. A general public release needs a secure HTTPS relay or private tunnel with device revocation.
